Question about Televison & Video
TV clicks twice then turns off only seconds after turning it on.
Iam providing here a generic solution for ur problem as u ve not specified the make or model number of ur tv...
Sounds like a common problem where the Horizontal Output Transistor shorts due to heat, loading by a partially shorted flyback or yoke or old dried heat sink compound. If the HOT is ok then there is probably a short in another component. This can be determined in most cases by isolating each module one at a time. In other words disconnect the audio circuit and try
If no shorts are determined check the power supply for proper output voltages. All this would need to be done by a tech or someone familiar with the process. Repair cost should not be that much compared to the cost of a new set. so u have no reason to worry....
