Press the button with the icon that looks like a lightning bolt until it appears on the screen with a circle/slash on it.

All of the sudden I'm getting blurry pictures? What could be the reasons?

Possible reasons: 1) you are moving the camera when taking pictures, 2) make sure the lens is wiped clean of fingerprints, etc., 3) if taking pictures through glass (i.e. car windshield), make sure the glass is clean and 4) if taking pictures from a vibrating object (i.e. a running car), turn off the car to eliminate the vibration. The curvature of a vehicle's windshield COULD also distort your photos.

Can i turn off the flash so that it does not come on each ntime i turn on the camera it is a coolpix L22

Yes, that is a good option. You know I had a similar problem. Whenever I tried to take a picture it appears too bright due to an active flash. I deactivated it, and my pictures began to look cool. Please, try deactivating your flash. Hope this helped.

I have just purchased a Vivicam x014 Camera I am trying to take closup picures of coins. I am having a problem with glar can you recomend a user guide that I can use. Thank You Bob Lo...

If you are using the camera's flash, this may be your problem. Pros use external lights to photograph small objects. You can do the same by purchasing inexpensive workshop light reflectors and "daylight" type compact flourescent bulbs. Turn off the camera flash and position the lights on each side of the coins aimed at 45 degree angles to the coins. This eliminates the glare and provides perfect lighting. You can also experiment by turning off one of the lights so that the coins are lit from one side only...this will really bring up the detail in the coins.

On lighter backgrounds the pictures have horizontal lines as shown, what is going? This only happens on light objects and backgrounds.

This can happen if the light is too bright. When you capture bright object/background, try to turn off your flash light, see if you'll get better picture.

Hope this help (^_^)

No picture when its sunny outside colour is distorted inside its a jvc digital cam gr-d33ag

On several camera the ccd is sensitive to bright and causes the images to come out very dark or out of focus because the auto focus sensor is being blinded. Try taking pictures with you back towards the sun and try turning off your flash this some times helps out. I hope this helps you and happy photo taking.

no its not the flash, it is the CCD. The replacement of the CCD will solve the problem.
