Question about Dell Latitude D600 Notebook
I'm running windows 7 trial version on a Dell Latitude D610, and when I turn it on it shows some strange colours and patterns, which look like factory test patterns or something. I don't know what the problem is and there are no details since after turning it on it doesnt reach BIOS, it just sits there showing different patterns every couple of seconds. I tried holding down the Fn key while turning it on, which showed either 3 or 4 flashes of the Caps lock key, one flash of the num lock, then the caps lock again which stayed lit. Does anyone know what these flashes mean?
I did a check and the D600 series I am pretty sure is not capable of running Windows 7. Re install the original OS or a Linux and go to the Windows 7 RC page and run the compatibility tool.
