First you need to check if the compressor is actually kicking in when started and you can do that by looking at it and you will see if it is working or not. If not working you ned to check the folowing : 1- AC compressor is getting electric , if not check the relay for the AS compressor. 2- Check if the AC compressor's clutch is kicking in (that is the part that is located on the front of the compressor , where the belt is fitted) 3- Check the compression of the AC compressor via a proffessional.

My ac only blowing hot air

Most likely needs a recharge. Could also be a clogged line, but pick up a recharge kit from AutoZone and try that first.

Air condition blowing hot air. Type of car: 2003 nissan pathfinder 4x4. Should I replace/add coolant?

Lack of Coolant wouldn't cause your AC to blow hot air.

You may have a vaccum leak in your dash board that is causing your heater to remain stuck.

If not this, then you will have to have your AC recharged. You can purchase a recharging kit from your local auto parts store! Fortunately, your vehicle can use the newer type of AC Recharging kits so you have many options!

Good luck and I hope this helped!
