Set-up (Programming) procedure is too much to type in here, and is not practical and it will differ brand-to-brand remote controls. If you wish to get more; check the sites linked here. It has set-up code list & set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. One among it has general set-up codes to check with TVs and other devices are given, in the order of the 'device's brand name list' in alphabetical order. Pull up older posts. Search the sites by type in the brand name to your device in its search box at the top right part of the display window. It will help you to find the document easily.

Programming Notes
• If your device does not respond to the remote after trying all codes listed or your brand is not listed in the code list, use the Auto Code Search method to program your remote.
• Sometimes the first code that "works" with your device may operate only a few functions of your device. There may be another code in the code list that performs more functions. Try other codes from the code list for more functionality.
This is a trial and error procedure; and quiet time consuming. You might have to check different codes said for your device.

Alot easier solution is to enter VIVO in I Dont See My Brand the Select Guide Me to guide you through the rest once it your model select Enter Remote Code and it will Display the Remote Code in the Box to Enter if you ever need to set it up again or have another VIANO TV that you want to use. You will find it alot easier than the method above. If still having trouble contact me via email personally or on facebook above name at outlook to find the correct facebook i have enabled.

Hi Tried already codes 147 & 256 w/Greenbrier

Hi Carlos,

First of all thank you for posting your question here at Fixya.com.

My first advice is to confirm if your remote control is working fine by aiming the infrared emitter(sensor) directly to your cellphone camera, while pressing any button key, you can see the flash of an infrared through your camera indicating that the remote is in good condition. Watch the video below for more info.

You are entering the right codes for Apex DVD player. And this remote control has only two 3 digit codes for Apex DVD (147 & 256).

If the two codes didn't work to your player, I would advice you to do the auto code search mode. At this state, the remote control will automatically find the compatible codes available from its memory. Follow the steps below.

> Turn on the DVD player.

> Hold down [SET] and the device you want to set (AUX) so that the red LED light goes on

> Press [SET] again. The LED will start flashing

> Press [POWER] button continuously until the DVD player turn off

> Once the DVD player turned off, press the device key(AUX) you are working with to end the setup

Please be patient while doing this steps because the remote control will try to find the compatible codes listed on its memory.

If the auto search mode didn't work also, this is an indication that this Model no. is not compatible (no compatible codes) to the remote control.

Again, thank you!

Have a nice day and take care!

Kind Regards,

Mjsazon

Insignia_Remote_Codes_I need the program codes for my ILO DVDR04 Recorder using my insignia remote.

If codes for your product are not listed in the User Manual for your TV, then you may use the search function to find a working code. Full details can be found in the User Manual, but basically:1. Turn on the device you wish to control2. Press the device button on your remote (DVD in this case)3. Press and hold SET until the red LED blinks twice, then release4. Enter 9 9 1; the LED blinks twice5. Press the number that matches your device type (2 for DVD)6. Aim the remote and press the power button; if the device responds go to step 87. If the device doesn't respond, press the CH ^ key until the device turns off8. Press SET to store the code
Remember that not every universal remote will control every device and, if the search fails, the remote is not compatible with your DVD recorder. I hope this helps.
