Question about Euro-Pro NV31 Infinity Vacuum

Have a new vacuum that only used for about a month. It runs and shuts off without picking up very good. Need to find out how to get it fixed as it has five year warranty.

Well if it's only a month old and has a 5 year warranty return to where you bought it to have it fixed...

There is loss of suction & when handle is locked upright it switches of power


Hi there, it's Jack at Dyson.
If your DC25 doesn't seem to be picking up as well as usual and shuts off in use, it's likely that it's overheating. This can be caused by a blockage - the filters may also need washing. To locate and clear any blockages please take a look at our Support guide:

In normal use both filters need to be washed at least once every 3 months as shown in the video below. Use cold water without detergent and allow at least 24 hours for the filters to dry before replacing them.

Motor pulsates


Hi there, it's Jack at Dyson.
If your DC44 Animal makes a pulsating noise then shuts off, it's very likely there is a blockage in the floor tool, wand or bin inlet. It's easy to check for this - just follow the steps in our Support guide:

It's also a good idea to wash the filter as shown in the video below - this should be done at least once a month in normal use. Use cold water without detergent, and allow at least 12 hours for the filter to dry completely before replacing it.

Dyson dc07 not picking dirt in up right position


Hi Madhuri,

I'm sorry to hear you're having difficulties with your DC07. If the machine won't pick up through the cleaner head, there may be a blockage somewhere. The easiest way to check for this is to follow the steps shown in our online support guide:

Electrolux Super J model, bag light stays on and vacuum will not run.


Have you checked the screen filter below the bag? This sometimes gets clogged with fuzz and whatnot, resulting in the vacuum shutting off. To clean it simply remove the bag and use a pick or similar item.
A clogged hose will also result in the same problem. Try running without the hose. If the vacuum runs without the hose a blockage in the hose is a probability. However there could be a clog in the power nozzle above the brush, as well. Check the suction at the end of the hose. If very little there's a good possibility this is the problem. Double check by dropping coin in one end and allowing to drop through. If it doesn't there's a clog. It can usually be cleared by plugging the hose into the exhaust port and turning the machine on. Be sure the other end is inside a large plastic bag.
Visually check wands to ensure they're clear. If not, push clog out with a broom stick.

Vacuum is about 4 years old does not pick up well


Have you ever replaced the belt? That is most likely the reason that it is not picking up like it used to. You are actually supposed to change the belt yearly. Here is the belt you need and the manual which has instructions:

My hoover vacuum runs for about 10-15 minutes then the saftey feature shuts it off(overheat?). i have taking it apart a cleaned it with no results, added new bag also. after an hour it cools down and works...


Do you have suction through the tools? Does it look like it picks up when it runs? The machine could be clogged and that would cause the problem, but unfortunately the sensor that shuts the machine off could be bad if the machine isnt clogged. Its not easy to get to it, I'd take it to a repair shop.

Will not pick up water


Hi, Make sure you have the selector switch set to position "C" Wet Pickup. release the trigger. make sure the recovery tank is empty and clean as well as the filter in the top of the tank as there is an automatic shut off valve in this tank. All of these parts are washable and if you have been using it dry it still needs to be cleaned. You also need to make sure it is all back together correctly so it seals. Good Luck!

Bosch vacuum Motor turns off after a few minutes


It sounds like you have a motor protection fuse that resets after an overheat/cooling cycle.These work the same as a circuit breaker in your house with the difference being they can reset themselves.The Bosch will also shut down if there is insufficient airflow and I would check your filters first.1) Pull the filter and let the machine run.Do not pick up debris when you operate without a filter-it will be drawn straight into the motor.If it runs fine without shutting down, all you need to do is change your filter.If it shuts down again check the external hose for any blockages.Also check the throat from the powerhead for any blockages.If you continue to have the same problem then you will need to replace the fuse because at this point you have eliminated all the other likely problems.Good Luck-Scott
