There is no ground wire. Turn the turn table upside down and there is a switch with one setting to plug into a "non" phono jack on your preamp or receiver, this is for newer equipment without a phono jack. The other setting is for phono, use this setting and it doesn't need a ground wire.

The plate on my numark tt USB is wobbiling

I find it hard to believe some of these answers. If the platter is wobbling, if you remove the platter, you'll find the spindle the platter rotates on. That will probably be loose. At the bottom of the spindle bearing, you will find a nut. Tighten that, and you should be in business. If you have further questions please visit my website at audioserviceclinic.com. You may contact me there.

I have a Numark TT 1610 and it has the old school red and black audio out put wires, and just playing some of my old records is what i wanted, but its sound comes through my speakers so soft i have to...

It looks like your amplifier has not got a "magnetic cartridge pre-amp" built in, or you have it connected to a tape/cd input instead of a phono input. All you need is to search online for one and that will connect between your deck and amp and it will then be the same volume as anything else connected to the amp.

I just put a numark tt usb from USA on a French electricity, it works only 10 seconde and power off with a little "poof" noise whats can i do, is it burn or can i repair it

No! I'am afraid it is done, the turntable motor is more than likely burned out along with several electronic parts, since hydro operates on 220volts at 50 cycles per second where you are it makes it totally incompatible with our system.

How do i hook a numark tt 1625 turntable to a regular home stereo amplifier...does the ground need to go into anything specific?

Turntables require a special input in the amp (usually marked PHONO) because they require high gain and different equalization - and yes, that ground wire has to go to ground unless you want to get a super annoying 60Hz hum from it!
If your amp doesn't have a phono input, you're going to have to go out and get a phono pre-amp and connect it between the turntable and the amp.
Best of luck!

The software works for both Windows 7 and Windows XP. You should just need to install it and follow the instructions. If you do not have it anymore, you can download the software and manuals at

Grnd wire for the horn is off where does it

Is it off at the horn? If it is then there should be a terminal on the horn to connect it to. If it is off at the end that goes to ground on the frame it just needs to be hooked to a good ground location, usually on the the other side of the rubber mount to the horn.

During vinyl play the sound will drop Numark TTUSB

sounds like the needle is worn down...try to replace the needle.....the buzzing sound often comes from open groung connections...that can come from the cartridge itself to the jacks on the back of the unit....bad ground and buzzing is normal for turntables and will also dramatically affect your sound level because the buzz or groung fault is higher than the sound being picked up by the needle.....open grounds can be checked with a meter set to continuity....to check for continuos line feed with no breaks in the lines.....if you find a broken line ...then that's your problem....it is a very simple repair....if the ground problem is in the cartridge...replace the cartridge which comes with a new needle as well...it's cheaper to buy it that way in stead of just bying a needle...if the ground fault is anywhere after the cartridge...then it's just a mater of replacing or repairing the line..again..very cheap repair....also...if the cartridge just clips on to the shell, sometimes it makes bad connections there too....that can just be cleaned with a little sand paper and it will work again....good luck
