Question about Philips 42PFL5603D - 42 IN. LCD HDTV
I simply plugged in the speakers from my computer. My other, smaller TV has a problem with the volume, but it is the opposite - it's too high, even when it's at its lowest. I use the speakers for that too - too much trouble to fix the stupid thing.

Check that your cable box has its volume set all the way up, i suppose you are using one, for the hdmi you can only get video from a comp, you need seperate lines for your speaker, usually there is audio in by the hdmi connectors.
