ST2: thank you. I was aware of that. Tried ordering 5x - each order was cancelled after 10 days. I have had several email exchanges with the Sansa folks who say the replacement clip has been "discontinued," (but the site still shows it as a backoder item.

As my player is still under warrantee, I tod them the clip broke off and was lost and asked for another (posts on iother sites recommended the warrantee approach. I was STIFFED by SANSA on my request - flat out refused.

Can anyone else help? Anyone have a coupla clips they want to sell?

Sandisk no longer makes the Sansa Clip or the replacement clips. I just got off the phone with them. I'm going to search online until I find some, then I'm buying them ALL. muhuhauhahahahahahahaa

Only my right earphone works on my sansa clip 4gb. i know its the player because i tried different sets of headphones. Whats the problem?

The phone socket in the player is probably faulty or it mat have a dry solder joint connection.
Either way to solder or replace the headphone socket requires dismantling the player.

My sansa 4gb clip is not recognised by my computer. The computer will not acknowlege the usb either... My sansa has run out of battery. What can I do????

Hai, i have sansa clip 2gb with the same problem. one ultimate answer i got is Sansa clip uses Media Transfer Protocol(MTP). Sandisk(maker of salsa clip) know about the problem which cannot be solved(the earlier sansa products are to be avoided). There is no solution with the company.

Have you tried updating your Windows Media Player to number 11? this has the drivers for SansaClip. Go to windows website, download WMP 11 and then plug in Sansa and uyour computer should recognise it. Good luck.
