Question about Maytag Neptune MAH5500B Front Load Washer
Washer has begun making a very loud noise during spin.
Well it could be the pump that is making all that racket but the sad reality is the main bearing is what all that ruckus is. FYI: your washer never was the quiet one anyway. It is just getting louder with age. Aggrevating ain't it. The good news is that is a nice machine. The bad news is it is gonna cost ya ta fix that puppy. the better news is that washer being loud and trying to do its best impression of the space shuttle is still better than any of the garbage out there today with the mexitronics and space shuttle technology from china. Best advice: let is roar till it dies and then by all means let that lonely big guy come out and redo that honey.
