I lost the installation cd but went to the hp website and downloaded the driver. Still, when I'm in gmail it doesn't even recognize that I have a camera plugged in.
first look on your cam for the model number and brand
example veo stingray 4420 drivers is what you would type in search, next go to the websight for drivers or firmware firmware is same as the cd program, this is a bigger download, under support webcam web pages
to install drivers, start settings control panel classic view should be on, then system on bottom hardware tab device manager, look for yellow mark next to cam, right click properties, update drivers then find cd location on hard drive or have microsoft update search for it automatic

I have the HP EW193AA web cam and you can take a pic by pressing the snapshot button on the side of the camera. but this is hard to do and taking pics this way is difficult, especially if i'm trying to take a pic from farther away. is there any other way to take a pic (like pressing a button on the keyboard)?

my Netgear print server ps101 is not working correctly. I am not able to print from the wireless computer or the print server administrator compter. I saw the link and alert lights were blinking simultaneously. I unplugged the printer and print server and plugged back in...no change. Later I noticed both lights were off..I understand the link light is supposed to be on. Any ideas?

My HP VGA EW193AA web camera does not work properly. When connecting to anything that uses a web cam. For instance, for Skype, I can go into options, and check on video settings, it works fine. But when I make a call it does not show up. When I go back to video settings, the video portion is black, and Skype freezes. Now it seems like I can't get the camera to work at all basically.
