Digital cable audio connection issues?

Ever since we switched from the standard cable to digital cable, several times a week the audio cuts in and out, (intermittently for a few seconds) the picture is fine, we've had two or three HD receivers so don't think that's the issue, nor is the TV itself since with regular cable, audio was perfect.

Digital is much more sensitive to "noise" and cuts out if signal is not strong. Contact your cable company to have them check the signal level you are receiving.

HDMI audio cutting out

Sometimes it might be the TV, sometimes it might be that HDMI cable having issues with that certain TV. Your best bet would be to get another HDMI cable and see if that helps.

Playing music from my computer into my tx-ds494 it has been cutting out into a really loud fuzzy noise like when your between radio stations

Sound like a poor connection to me. Verify the integrity of the cable on some different equipment if possible. Use some electrical contact cleaner such as DeOxit or Servisol Super 10 on the cable connectors and also in the computer audio output. Spray cleaner on the jack and then push in and out of the socket several times to scrub the connectors.

If you are using built in sound from a PC, it may be worth getting an external audio interface as the standard internal ones are not known for their hi-fi sound!

After power cut when switched TV back on clicking sound and no longer working

Please check the audio settings. Hope by mistake it is not on mute.
Also, switch off the TV. Disconnect all the cables, Wait for sometime. The set will reset to the previous settings automatically.
Connect all the cables and switch on the TV. The audio should work now.

Do i need a digital audio cable to connect to samsung led tv to make sound bar work

You will need some type of cable, Look at the ports on your tv and soundbar.

If you see both have red and white ports then all you need is red and white audio cables.

If you see both have auxillary input ports then all you will need is a standard aux cable. (3.5mm is the standard)

If you see HDMI slots then you can use a HDMI cable.

If you see a digital audio input port then you can use a digital audio cable.

Luckily makers give us several options on how we want to configure our systems and the variability of the ports allow us to fully customize it. I hope this helped. All of the a fore mentioned cables can be found at your local electronics/department store.

HDMI audio problems with my sharp LC42D64U

the problem is that your cable box is putting out too low of a bandwidth to your tv and is cutting out completely. Since its all digital either its there or not. try switching to componant cables. Cable boxes only support up to 720p anyway so you wont sacrafice any quality.

Hope this helps

Sound problem

I'm fairly certain this is a cable signal issue... I have had my digital audio cut in and out and the cable company traced it to a weak signal and replaced the cabling. No issues since. Just an FYI, my setup is a Sony 6.1 with an Optical cable. There is a Blue Light indicator for Surround and when I had the problem, the receiver's light would go off and the display "blinked."
