Consult manual. So e dont need it did it come with oil?

here is a link for a janome manual, it should have oiling information in it,, if there is no oiling information in the manual, then go to the janome website and contact their customer service and ask them if the machine is a self oiling or not

you do not say the name brand of the sewing machine, but the
question was put under Janome, since the manual does not state
where to oil, it would be a good idea to contact Janome customer
service and ask them if the machine is self oiling from the factory.
or contact a Janome dealer and ask them.

You can never used oil to any MC machine. it will damaged the sensore of your machine.If possible just open head cover and clean broken thread from the movable part.

Oil all moving parts that you can see or can get to

some machine are self oiling, when they are run & they parts get warm to hot then the oil come out of the parts & it's self oil.
contact a janome dealer & ask if your model is self oiling
