Hi, the timer module mechanism has failed. the timer motor is unable to advance the mech at this time. you will need to replace the entire timer module. this will fix your issue.

Drier will not shut off . Drier goes from heat fo cool and run all the time, will shut off if door is opened

Most dryers (and washers) have a control knob with settings and also have a timer that ticks like a clock.
I'd say your "clock-timer" is stuck and need replacement.
Most usually, you will have to replace the whole "control" assembly to get a new timer-clock.
God bless your efforts.

Dryer wont stop buzzing

follow this steps and fix it. God bless you

Timer
The timer could be the problem. To check this, turn the timer to a timed cycle say 30 minutes or so then time it. If in 30 minutes the timer hasn't moved and the dryer is still on, the timer is bad and need replaced. If in 30 minutes the dryer is off, the heating element is your problem

Heating Element
This is the most likely cause for some dryers timer not advancing. Some dryers have two heating elements and if one goes out the timer will not advance if you use it on an automatic cycle but you will still feel heat inside the tub. replace the heating elements

Sounds as if the motor centrifugal switch is stuck. Check to see if lint built up around switch or centrifugal mechanism on motor shaft. Rap switch with the handle of a screw driver hard but don't break it .

Whrilpool washer/dryer stack the dryer doesn't get hot

You will find that the drier wont get hot because the timer is not forwarding onto the heating part of the cycle. Possibly if you click one click at a time, you will possibly get to the heating part of the cycle but its not safe as it wont go any further. Install a new timer and you will be happier I'm sure.

Whirlpool drier has no heat and won't shut off . . .

it was most likely caused by the timer not turning off and burning out the heating element or a temperature switch or tripping one side of the circuit breaker in the house. it really needs to be checked out by a professional. unless it is old then you might want to replace it.
  • best case scenario:
  • the breaker has tripped (turn it off then back on to find out)
  • the TIMER MOTOR is the only problem <$30
If the timer itself is bad then it will cost a lot more.

The heater and timer do not work

The timer won't advance unless te clothes are drying with heat.(No heat, no movement).
Check your fuse or breaker box to see if you have a tripped 30 amp breaker,(Flip breaker OFF then back ON), or blown 30 amp fuse.(Replace both 30 amp fuses to eliminate the possibility of being wrong).
If these check ok,(be certain), then you have a breakdown on the heat side of the 240 volt circuit, at which point, I would recommend calling a technician.

Let me know if I can be of any more assistance.
