What engine, gas or diesel?
if gas is it carb fueled or TBI/MPI fuel injected? what?
Ill toss coin, its EFI injected, in some way.
we dont know what get means? sorry ! (a volt meter, or pressure gauge, what? is get?) or sparks dry cranked, means GET?
my guess is " engine will not start?" why not say?
guess 2, and will crank ok? and head lights work.>?
these are a first first things. and matter. big time, power wise.
ill guess engine cranks fast and will not start.
EFI (guessing fuel system I am ) electronic fuel injection.
next is not pump! it's spark , for 2 reasons.
1: no gas engine runs with no spark. (diesel yes, see?)
2: and the ECU detects spark missing and cuts fuel to prevent
crash and burn as seen on TV> (computer logic, hard coded in ECU brain... all EFI made does that....)
SPark good, we try test fuel next, spray test fuel in the induction.
if engine runs for 3 seconds each spray attempt, good.
then sparks ok, if not run, then bad spark or bad engine.
(engine cam belt , 100k miles old?) no engine stated, so is wild guess of the many used.
then comes pump plays. next. and last.
watch scotty do his stuff (gas car or petrol)

Bad wire harness or bad pump
SOURCE: fuel pump relay
The fuel pump relay is located in the relay box under the hood. This box is located near the battery. The fuel pump relay's location is marked on the lid to this relay box. If your lid is missing, it is the relay just outboard of the pink 30 amp Maxi Fuse.

SOURCE: no power at fuel pump chev.S-10 looking for fuel pump relay and fuse
The fuel pump relay is located Under hood, driver side, upper firewall, mounted in
relay block.
The fuse is located under the instrument panel to the left of the steering column.
The fuse block should be visible from underneath the steering column,
near the pedal bracket. If the panel is not visible, check for a
removable compartment door or trim panel which may be used on later
models to hide the block.
SOURCE: where can i find the fuse for the fuel pump relay
You should find it under the hood in a fuse box near the firewall
SOURCE: location of fuel pump relay on '89 f 150 4.9
looking from the engine from the front, it is on the right side and it is brown...there should be 3 relays there, and as i said it is the brown one at least it is brown on my F150.
