Question about HP OfficeJet 7310 All-In-One InkJet Printer

Replaced color cartrige twice and says to check color cart..

I have replaced the color cartrige and had the error code... Messed with it for 1 hr on phone with someone in a foreign land. ( Thanks HP !!) Told me to replace the new cartrige I just bought, and after the 45 min round trip,..................again...............................I had the same problem.!. (thanks for the help) Lets get some genuine American Jobs Back in AMERICA........ Im fixin it for good now!! HA HAAAAAAAA and yes I have reset with #3 and #6

    Found the problem. Metal spring on RH side came out and when I pushed the new in, went through the curcuit paper in back side for the recieving end of the contacts.. Im trying to find a replacement...

Hello,

We have a reset procedure on our web site at:
www.ccl-la.com/hp.htm The problem is cause by air in the ink feed tubes, the reset procedure will purge the lines and clear the error.

Hp 2605dn Black cartridge is printing 1/8" LEFT of other colors.


That problem is frequently on HP 2600 series.
You must try to change all remanufactured toner cartridges with HP OEM with no exception, the best alignment it is when you change the black cartridge and the printer make a cleaning page process. Cartridge HP OEM should be almoust empty. It Is not necesarry to be a new one. After the alignment process, you can put the remanufacturated cartridges back on.
This was work for me. 100%

HP 2605dn Black prints 1/8" offset to left. Colors do register


Missalignment problems ae not uncommon with this series of printer.
The cause is one of the sensors (which are used for calibration and alignment) on the transfer belt, is faulty.

These sensors are NOT availale, and replacement of the transfer belt is the solution.

Transfer belt replacement on these printers requires quite a bit of dismantling, its not considered to be a user replacable consumable.

The lt magenta and magenta just quit printing between pages


1. Check if the cartriges are correctly installed:
Installing the Ink Cartridges

2. Print a diagnostic page and clean print heads, using the printer cleaning utility:
Color Mix or Missing Colors on the Diagnostic Page
Repeat if needed.

3. If this still doesn´t solve you problem, try resetting the printer and manually cleaning the cartrigdes as advised in this FAQ:
Ink Cartridge is Missing, Incorrectly Installed, or Not Intended for Your Device' Error Message is Displayed on the Printer

Is it the right Cartridge you are trying to install please check and then check if the sensors are working.

Error notification with new cartrige

click on the setup button and scroll down to tools and under tools u would have clean print catridges and allign the catridges and it should resolve ur issue:

Replaced new color cartridge Message is coming insert color cartrige


The cartridge you have installed is most likely faulty. Change it for another genuine HP item and see if the error goes. If the error clears, return the old full cart to the point of sale for a refund under warranty.

If the error remains, there is most likely a fault with the printer which can not easily be sorted by the user.

No print capacity


do you have an error code on the display. plz give us some more details.

Some quick hints:
-Is the cart secured by help of the colored latches (you should hear a clicking sound).
- Do you use generic carts? might be a prob of air ventilation = drill a hole on top of the missing one.
-did you tell the printer that you have changed the cart by pressing 1 for yes?
-is another cart empty?

Did you use generic ink carts? If yes and those have a scotch tape as a seal, ink has splashed and stained the led-control board.

Do use a full brother ink cart and place it into the machine. m
always make sure that the colored latches are secured (clicked into position.

Another chance is that the generic cart is a bit too small. feed some paper BENEATH the cart. Leave some more paper to be pressed by the latches.
