My haier 6000 btu AC unit will beep when you try to turn it on and will also have all of its lights blinking on and off.

It will not turn on, it will just blink the button lights on and off, also it will make a beeping sound.

Have you checked the troubleshooting section of the owner's manual? If you do not have the original it can be downloaded from the manufacturer's website.

SOURCE: model # m6p09s2a portable maytag

Greetings,

I have the same model air conditioner, and had the same symptoms. As you've probably discovered, Fedders is the company that actually built it, and went of business. No one is supporting it any more.

However, you may be in luck. I fixed the problem by simply tipping the unit almost all the way over on its back (leave a little gap) and letting the water drain out of the hose and the filter. After that, it started right up.

Hope that works for you. Stay cool. :)

SOURCE: Blinking Nature Indicator Light

air conditioner will run fine and then shut off. When it does this the nature indicator light on the unit begins flashing If I attempt to turn it back on the fan revs up and then shuts off 15seconds later. I'm not sure what it's trying to convey with theblinking light but when the AC shuts off...

SOURCE: I purchased and LG Model# LP1010SNR on 8-3-10 at

What happens on this unit is it will suddenly stop followed by a series of chimes. You can reset the unit, but it will end with the same set of chimes. My unit display had a P2 code. As mentioned above, I drained the water (small amount actually) in the shower. Note: There is a cap towards tha bottom of the unit that you will need to unscrew, then pull out the rubber plug. Fired up the unit after the water drain ... it worked fine. If they can make a GI Joe talk ... why can this unit simply say ... "Please Drain". P2 is so intuitive.

Unit is off and displays blinking stop and won't come on...

My unit shut down in the middle of the night and had the blinking STOP on a dark screen, would beep 10 times when plugged in aswell. I set the unit on top of a pan and opened the bottom water drain plug. After draining alot of water out the unit allowed itself to be turned back on again. Guess its either extremely humid or the dual hose setup doesn't evaporate the water as fast as they made out. Anyways, I haven't found anyone else post this so I hope this helps someone out there.

Hi, I just purchased this used. It was working fine for one day, but now it won't turn on. Can u help? Haier CPN12XH9 12000 BTU Portable Air

If the water collection tank is full, it will not turn ON. Since you said the unit worked fine for one day and now it won't turn ON, more than likely, that's the problem. After draining the tank, the unit should reset itself and turn ON like it should.

The drain plug is on the rear of the unit, just above floor level. You can either drain it into a low sided pan or bowl that's capable of holding up yo a quart of water. O r roll the unit to a floor drain or outside to drain it. If you choose to drain it into a pan, turn the unit OFF & unplug it, before draining it.

I hope this helped you and thanks for choosing FixYa

Can't find my manual. Trying to set with remote. Help! Looked for a copy of manual on line, but can't find one. Thank you.

The reason you couldn't find a manual on line, is that your model "has been retired" (i.e.Discontinued). They no longer make a 6000 btu unit. In any event, they still support the unit. You can get a copy of the Owners Manual form Haier Customer Support 1-877-337-363. They can probably email it to you as an attachment.

Hope this helps you.

Hello i got a AMANA 9,000 BTU and the light its blinking of the triangle and i lost the manual of the AC can you tell me what can i do i cant turn on my ac

I have the Maytag version of this machine and the blinking triangle light means the water tray is full. The machine won't operate until that water has been drained -it's the little black tube with the plug at the bottom behind the machine. Pull the plug, tip it down (preferably with a shallow pan underneath to catch the water) and drain as much as you can. Once you've done this, put the plug back in and it should start.
