Deanna, check to see if your A/C is in the on position, this could cause fan to run a lot. If this is not the case, take truck in for diagnoses at a good shop, could be a faulty heat/fan sensor or sticking relay. Check the attached links, instruction and guides, Good luck

My 02 Camry v6' battery was removed for 30 min and put back on - good battery. Engine starts no problem but stalls at idle. No error code. Is a computer-code reload or IAC cleaning ? Seems the car computer...

idle learn procedure:

turn off all electrical items (AC fan, audio, lights, defogger, etc.)
Start the engine and hold it at 3,000 rpm with no load (in park or Neutral) until the radiator fan comes on or the engine coolant gauge shows normal running temp.

Now let the engine idle for a minimum of 5 mins with no electrical loads. If the radiator fan cycles on during this time, you must add the fan running time to the 5 mins.

The fans begind me radiator willnt shut off in my 2005 gmc sierra

If you read the label on the radiator shroud/fan cowls, you will see that it says "Warning--These fans may operate at any time, even if the ignition is off."
This means that the computer monitors the coolant temperature through the sensor in the water neck, block, or radiator, and turns the fans on if any of them reports (true or not) that the coolant is too hot.
Obviously, there is nothing wrong with the fans, because they run.
First, check your coolant level; if it's too low, then the engine actually boils the coolant in the radiator, causing it to flash over to steam, which is hotter than the thermostat is set to allow the engine to operate. Check this in the radiator itself, not the coolant bottle, with the engine of course cold at the time of your check.
You have, at the least, a false signal from one of these sensors.
You could also have a faulty fan relay in the distribution box under the hood on the driver's side of the vehicle.
You could also have a faulty ECM (hope it's not that one...$$$).
Please let me know if this helps you, and remember to vote/comment.

Heater fan runs while ignitions is turned off pulled fuse but the fan can still run but only intermitly

Heater or radiator? The radiator fan is running to cool the coolant down (since the engine isn't running, no air moves through the radiator) and extend your engine life. It's what it's supposed to do. Don't worry.

2000 gmc sierra 2500 the engine temp rises when stopped. It has a 6.0 V8 i also noticed the transmission temperature is going above 200degrees, thats never happened even hauling loads in texas heat

Just guessing but, I'd say either fan clutch is going bad, not turning as fast as it should be once temps go up or if you have electric fans, either fans or relays bad. I'm leaning more toward the fan clutch. The fins on the impeller of the waterpump can also wear done over time and reduce the amount of water flow. You may also want to make sure the fins in the radiator are clean and not stopping air flow. I'm assuming that when you're moving there's no problem so that should say that water pump, thermostat are doing good. Please rate this. Thanks

GMC Sierra A/C Stops Cooling After Driving a Few Minutes

It sounds like you either have an condensor fan problem or low freon. The condensor fan is near the radiator. In some cases the radiator fan doubles as the condensor fan. So look there too.
