The bobbin winder tire may have degraded so the motor is not reaching that bobbin winder shaft. Replace the bobbin winder tire and you may be set! (That was my machine's problem)

No idea... did you lock thread onto bobbin so it holds to wind?

How do I wind sharing thread onto a bobbin on a LX-5500 brother sewing machine?

Generally, elastic thread should be hand-wound onto a bobbin. Hand winding allows the elastic thread to be wound onto the bobbin without any stretch prior to sewing.

I can't remember how to wind a new bobbin

there should be a spare thread holder on the machine and a bobbin mount near the drive wheel of the machine. The bobbin goes on the bobbin mount which is pushed onto the drive wheel in order that it is rotated. the thread should be wound onto the bobbin and the the motor should be actuated. This should wind the bobbin. This is usually done with the thread out of the needle.

Bobbin refuses to be wound on self-winding bobbin machine. Bobbin does not turn. The thread is winding continously on the bottom of the bobbin basket. Need help.

Just off the top of my so-called head, it sounds like something in the bobbin area is not seated correctly. However, I would recommend that you do a search on FB and Yahoo interest groups (also on PSW software); it's members are MOST helpful, and will be glad to work with you to resolve this problem.

After winding a bobbin on my Juki TS2010Q and releasing the winding lever, my machine will not run, Up/Down needle or cut. The electronic buzz indicates that it is trying but nothing happens.

Have you tried pulling gently on the thread coming up from the bobbin? If this doesn't give, the thread may be tangled around the mechanism (under the machine, where the bobbin fits). Open that section and you should see if there is excess thread wound around. Clear this, and when you put the machine back in place, gently hold the bobbin thread to assist in not having loose thread to tangle again. This sounds like my machine sounds when that happens to mine so I hope this fixes it.

Bobbin winder stop before befor fully wound

Is the bobbin close to full in the middle but not that full above and below? You may need to watch the bobbin wind and give the thread a nudge so that it fills right across the bobbin core to avoid this happening. Most bobbin winders will click off before the bobbin is completely full as you don't want any thread actually touching the bobbin case when it is in position, just fill to about 80% for good tension and stitching.

I have a Freesia 425 - I have wound the bobbin successfully, but the bobbin will not come off the winder - any explanations

The bobbin is probably cracked. They get that way when bobbins are wound in correctly, or to tight. Just break it off and get new bobbins. Just make sure your theading it correctly when winding bobbins.

I have a singer classic fashion maker. I am facing a particular problem. lot of thread gets collected at the bottom part. And the stitch is very loose at the bottom. Tried loosening and tightening of the...

This usually happens when the bobbin is wound incorrectly or has been over-filled. Take 1/2 the thread off the bobbin or if you need to wind a new one, only wind it halfway. Replace the bobbin and be sure that the thread is in the correct direction and fed through correctly. Bring the bobbin thread up before you start sewing.
