Your remotes and your keypad are small transmitters that send a signal to the receiver. If all your units are intermittent then it is the receiver that is bad. The receiver is part of the logic board.

If you didn't, try programming the remote this way.

Press and hold the button on the remote and then press and immediately release the smart/learn button on the motor unit. If this doesn't work you need to make sure you have the correct remote for the model opener you have. Your model number doesn't bring any results from Sears Parts.com.

Try it this way.

Locate the smart/learn button on the rear of the motor unit near where all those white wires go. Press and immediately release this and then walk over to the keypad and key in any 4 digit code you like and press enter.

Key pad not working. Garage door will open with

I'm confused about the battery you replaced inside the garage but you can try programming the keypad just to see.

Locate the smart/learn button on the back of the motor unit near where all those white wires go. Press and immediately release it and then walk over and key in your 4 digit code and press enter. If this doesn't work and you know the battery inside the keypad is good, you have a bad keypad.

Programing remote for a chamberlain liftmaster

Try this. Press and hold the smart/learn button for 6 seconds. This will erase everything from its memory. Now press and hold the button on one of your remotes while you press and immediately release the smart/learn button. Do this for each remote.

Find the model number for your opener. It will start with 139. Check to make sure you have the correct keypad. There are several models and the wrong ones will cause the problem you have.
