Question about Apple iPod nano
First lets restore your ipod
How to restore your iPod:
Then lets change a few settings
Configure iPod or iPhone for manual management
If you have iTunes 7* or later follow these instructions.
Manually adding content to your iPod or iPhone
After following the steps above, you can add individual songs, videos, and playlists from iTunes to your iPod or iPhone. Just drag the item to the iPod or iPhone icon in the Devices list on the left-hand side of the iTunes Window.
Tip: You must first import audio CDs into iTunes before you can add them to the iPod or iPhone.
Now itunes will never wipe your ipod music unless you do so yourself, so now you can manage the list by hand and you won't have your songs dissapear on their own ever again hopefully. Unless a major problem comes up you may have to restore and in that case you wiil lose the content again.
