Question about Facebook Social Network

1 Answer

I have had issues with Facebook for months now. It was intermittent but now it seems to be more consistent. I have tried logging into the main page of Facebook, it takes my data and does not go anywhere. I have tried Firefox, both old and new version, and IE. I have uninstalled all java, adobe add ons and re-installed, nothing seems to solve this issue. If I load in IE it says page is complete with errors and never moves off the login page. If I load in Firefox it does nothing but hang like it's still trying to connect. Then every once and a while, maybe once a month, it will work. Please, someone has to know how to solve this issue. I am using this site to network for job opportunities and this is quite inconvenient.

Why when I try to open my messages and notifications does it say oops this page cannot be found?

It sounds like you might have a problem with your network connection. I'd call my internet provider and tell them what problem you're having. They seem happy and patient to walk people through all sorts of issues. If this just happened and never happened in the past, empty your browser's cache and restart your computer, then try to log in again. If you can't log into your page, there's something wrong, you shouldn't be getting a redirect or error message.

Can't get on facebook, says there are issues with my page, to try again in a few minutes. haven't been on since yesterday

Try clearing your cache and cookies if you are only trying on one computer or smartphone. if you are getting the same error on multiple devices I would make sure you are logged out of all, clear cache and cookies on your main system (preferably computer) and try again. If you still get the error you should email and ask if you account has been disabled, explain the issue, and wait for thier support team to reply (usually takes about a day). Also, I recommend using the account you signed up for FaceBook with if you multiple email accounts.

Facebook states that the email is not associated with any account at At this point I would recommend you contact Facebook support to resolve this issue. You can click here for the support page.

I have been seeing the following error message for about 6 hours. My family says that they can still see my facebook page and that I am still in their friends list, I just can't seem to log on. any...

The Facebook site occasionally blocks access for certain chunks of users temporarily so that the staff can carry out routine maintenance procedures and software updates on those accounts.

These lockout periods are normal and can last anywhere from a few hours to a day or two.

Just try again tomorrow.

Be patient and good luck.

Everytime I try to log into facebook it another page says expired

well, the connection timer has timed out, It has to do with internet connection speed and consistency. If your connection to the site gets dropped, it's because the website doesn't hold it's connection open too long waiting for your computer to connect to the site, which ties up the server/network. once the timeout ends, your connection expires. Basically your computer only has a certain amount of time to connect to the site, if it doesn't, the connection expires. And Facebook is hugely popular. hope this helps.

I cant log into my facebook acct.......I have been on facebook for months....when I try to get in a screen keeps popping up saying the account has not been confirmed yet.....and yet....I have a facebook...

I would check your email for a comformation from facebook or double check your username and password are correct when trying to get into facebook. It is not likely an issue with your PC itself but rather an issue with the username and/or password or an issue with the facebook site .

Problems logging into facebook

If you are using Internet Explorer 8. Best to downgrade or uninstall Internet Explorer 8. Better use the Version 7. If you still have problems.. there is some scripting issue ... try double clicking that yellow icon and post it here. First off... try to download the latest Java runtime environment. Next... update your flash player. Next.. go to the internet options by clicking on Tools then Internet Options. from there go to the advanced tab. click on reset. if that does not work in internet options go to the programs tab then click on manage addons button. Look for those items that are disabled and try to enable the java ones. after that restart your Internet explorer.
