check the agitator module unit and the start capacitor both in the back of the control panel One controls the agitation and the other starts the motor. If the start capacitor is failed simply replace it with a new one The agitator module will cost more . Have an appliance electrician check it out.
most common is lint build up. a good hot wash with a good bleach...check your manual for manufacturer's recomendation. There's various products available..bleach is the most in-expensive and works well. make sure its set on high water level...pause machine for 10-20mins...let me know how you get on
