My tv wont connect to the ps3 with a hdmi lead

Ur tv some how causes HDMI 1 and 2 port hubs link together so changes back and fourth 1 or 2 HDMI hubs will not a difference.Ur tv have 4 HDMI hub ports wright?Tries not to used HDMI hub ports as like HDMI ports like 1,2,3,4 to as in sequences.Tries used like 1 and 4,2 and 4,3 and 1 as skips sequences might work for ur tv.Tries to hook up the PS3 system as the old format hook up same hook as PS2 format like used the PS station old RCA AV cable hook up.Then that should not causes conflict at all because now tv have two difference kind of format hook up.

Just plug it like a regular DVD player thru HDMI connection and then choose HDMI AV input from your TV to be able to see the screen. You can also use the TV as a monitor by using the S-Video or the VGA input and then put the audio of the PS3 to your Audio system or amplifier.

you can select the rca setting in the audio settings you can set it to play through hdmi lead to screen and use rca lead for sound hope that helped

I have the same problem but i changed my hdmi lead for a more expensive one from comet and its fine now! so proberly just a rubbish HDMI lead i bought mine on ebay for £2.99 :-( Not such a bargain.

Try this

1. Turn ON TV
2. Connect PS3 to TV HDMI input
3. select TV HDMI input for PS3
4. turn OFF PS3 if it is ON
5. Press and hold the [I/O]Power button until the PS3 until you get the "HDMI Detected" message.

Also, this TV has a circuit that deactivates the HDMI if the rear cover is removed. It is possible the HDMI may have been turned OFF. This is reset in the service menu of the TV.

I have sound on video 2, and when on a static channel but not on the usual channel 3 which is TV. Just stoppen working one day and cant figure it out... Please help!

Have both the AV cables and hdmi cables hooked up from the tv to the ps3. On the TV Menu goto the av station which is different from the HDMi station...From the ps3 menu screen gotot settings then to video and audio and select hdmi then back to the tv menu and select the hdmi station and the ps3 main menu should be seen and you are all set

hi i had a problem, but had no pic, but did have sound, rang sony, and they said buy a new hd cable, went out and bought one, and it worked fine!!!

go back to your friends with your ps3 and change the tv settings on the ps3 back to scart output but also take your scart lead and have it plugged in at the same time. once you have selected scart output unplug the hdmi cable to make sure the settings are right. hope this helps you.
