Question about Panasonic PT-50LC13 50" Rear Projection HDTV
First panasonic replacement bulb lasted 3 1/2 years, just replaced 1 month ago again and now TV is blinking red and lamp light is blinking. Fom the looks of the lamp is doesnt appear to be damaged. Could there be another problem or did this lamp fail after only 1 month?
Most systems with lamps will have a timer. If the timer gets to a certain hour the set should warn you to replace the lamp. Once you do, you have to reset the timer. If it gets to the max it will not allow you to turn it on till the timer is reset. Check your manual or call the mfg. to see how to reset. Sometimes it's the volume up and down at the same time or menu and power at the same time. They are all different so if you have no manual it's best to call tech support to get the reset steps.
