We now learn that its NOT the TCM
you heard some one say , it (rumor)
or say the coded looked it up forgot
that CMP,CKP and TCM are all different things

post the codes this time, all of them
connect scan tool
turn it on the ignition switch
scan it
the crank it
the start it
got more codes. post them.
Like P0340 , and like that....
if not , doing that, you will never find cause.

its like asking the roofer to fix the roof
but the toilet , leaks.

    why not post symptoms first.??????????
did you know, that the PCM (engine) in limphome can cause low power, and seems like a bad trans?

did you know that the TCm can go to limphome
mode and do the same thing, (low power, skips a gears)

we scan first. then leap second.

The TCM i bet is NOT bad, and if that is true
as it is 99.5% of time, then finding it is just a waste of your time and ours.

    facts.

  • Anonymous Jun 26, 2016

i see now you did scan it and engine sputters
    (misfires grossly)
but failed to post the DTC errors.
    fail.

My car starts stuttering and straining when it gets to 3rd gear to the point I have to turn car off and crank it up again it jumps to drive then hesitate to drive it pulls slow I got a diagnostic test and it said TCM crankshaft position and tune up I did everything but the TCM my car still doing same thing I was told it was located inside my car by brake pedal

wrong name it told you a code, and you forgot the DTC code , correct.?

TCM and CMP are 2 diffr. things.
the TCM is the transmission brain.
the CMP is the sensor that is the precursor to spark and injection timing.

now you will ask where is my CMP.
    or where is my CKP,
post the codes, and WIN, a WIN /WIN

    you win
and we win not chasing wrong parts. see?

  • Anonymous Jun 29, 2016

this is the 2 liter engine, right, used in USA cars, right, ??
and on that engine in this country, you dont want to have a bad CKP, ($$$$$$$$$$)
so not posting the code, makes getting answers wrong, and huge costs pulling and engine that dont need pulling.
    CKP is behind the flywheel.
the CMP is at the end of left camshaft.
do not fiddle the CMP base or it will get worse.!!!

  • Anonymous Jun 30, 2016

    why not scan the PCM
then when it barfs out (dumps) lots of DTC errors
write them all down on paper and post them
all exactly as you see them.
    verbatim... and win. a win/win.

    P03xx??? and the like...
    all of them ,

HAVE A CODE 700 THEN 1844 FOR A 2005 SUZUKI RENO EX. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?

P0700 - Transmission Control System Malfunction = it means that the TCM the brain of the transmission is malfunctioning .
P1844 - Transmission Transfer Case Differential Lock-Up Feedback Switch Short Circuit To Battery = the differential sensor is defective or its wiring is shorted.
The sensor will have to be replaced and the wiring (both inside the case and outside, between the case and the body) inspected for faults - a partial disassembly of the transfer case will be required.

I just bought a 2005 Suzuki Reno and I can't seem to get the back windshield wiper to work. Is there a separate button somewhere for that?

Yes, the rear wiper has it's own control which is separate from your windshield wipers. Look around on the dash and I am sure you will find it.

Where is the transmission dipstick?? on 2005 reno

It is usually between the engine and the back wall(firewall). It says transmission right on it however some cars are made now where you have to take it to the dealer to get it checked out.If you have the owner's manual, that may help.Good luck! Greg
