Do you have "Hold" on ?
if not try connecting it to a pc, see if your pc recognizes it and then try again.

i have had that problem, it says its full but it says battery low. i Just reconnected it and it went back to the white battery and finished charging. Just reconnect it, or if that doesn;t work then ur going to need more help, oh and i have the blue 2gb one,

get a sledge hammer and bash it...put the mp3 plyer on the road and let it get run over...if that dont work ...well that sux cuz it because it cuz it cant be fixed now
