It's just running your "return home" program, so it says "return". the FR above it is just meaning "Friday". They line up in a way that makes it look like the two words are together but they aren't, the week line is just right above the program line.

How do I set the temporary or permanent override feature on the Honeywell RTH2310B model thermostat?

To set the temporary override, press arrows up or down to desired temp. This will keep temperature
at temporary setting for 2 hours then return to programming. To permanent override press MODE button until schedule period number disappears (number inside little house on stat). Then adjust temp with arrows. Press the MODE button again to cancel override and return to programmable.

Need to know how to calibrate my honeywell RTH221

This thermostat is not field servicable, you cannot calibrate this thermostat.May want to consider moving it closer to return air of equipment, for more accurate sensing of building temperature. Why do you feel that it needs calibrated? Suggest setting another thermometer on top to verify its accuacy.

Thermostat is reading FR Return what does this mean? It is a honeywell CT 3200.

My new blanket works great. Then I changed my sheets and would get the F2 problem. Very consistent after 5 tries with F2 blinking by unplugging at wall outlet and comes on with F2 blinking. Let it rest a night and still the same.

Then I unplug it at the blanket. Hmm, notice a pin was lower than the others. PUSH BACK IN FIRM and tried again. Perfect.

What does FR Return mean when thermostat says this?

it means that it is friday and your "return home" program is running. there isn't actually a "FR Return" alert, it just lines up that way because the day of the week line sits directly above the program line.

Thermostat

I have a Honeywell Programmable Thermostat, T8011R. The users guide for the T8000 series can be found at:
http://www.honeywell.com.au/business/acs/acp/ecc/ec/residential/identify.html

To keep your temperature at a single setting, just enter the temperature at every period, i.e. WAKE, LEAVE, RETURN AND SLEEP for both the Monday through Friday time frame and the same for the weekend. I do this at 55 degrees when I'm going to be out of town.
To 'Guest' , enter your 68 degrees at WAKE, LEAVE and RETURN, then enter 66 degrees at SLEEP. Do this for the Monday through Friday time frame and again for the Saturday - Sunday time frame.
