I have hooked up my computer to the projector. I get the blue screen and nothing else. How can I get the image to project? Thank You!

make sure you're on the correct source on the projector. now i'm not sure if you're using a laptop, if you are, then you're gonna have to press FN and F5 (depending what type of laptop you have, sometimes it's F8) buttons on your laptop. this activates the computer port of your laptop.

Screen is yellow in the middle?

If the yellow area edges are sharp then the blue LCD is faulty and need to be replaced.
If the yellow area edges are not sharp and you get the multi color background in you image the your need service. due to dust on LCD panals the light is not pass on properly so you open the projector and clean the LCD block.
(cleaning of LCD block and other parts of the projector is a very technical job please very very carefully)

LCD projector not displaying image of the laptop

On that Dell, you have to tell the laptop to display the image on an external unit--look on either F4 or F8--you will find a small TV screen symbol. You have to press and hold "alt" and press the key. The options are, 1-show image on just the laptop, 2-show the image on the laptop *and* something else, (like a projector), or 3-show an image on JUST an external display. NOTE: Sometimes, you have to turn on the projector FIRST, then immediately turn on the laptop so they boot together--just one of those strange things...(remember, **for example** first press of "alt" F4 will get you laptop and projector, second press of "alt F4 will get you JUST the projector, third press of the keys will bring you back to just the laptop)---Rick

Need image to show on both the HP laptop and the InFocus IN15

make sure the laptop is plugged in and not on battery. also make sure the dmi-vga cable is not too long. the signal isn't strong enough to get to both screens.

Ful size image not transfering 4rm laptop 2 screen thru projector

image resolution is not syncing up. reset the settings to factory default, then hook up the laptop and press auto image. if it still doesn't work, you may need to change the resolution on your laptop.

Dark screen with dull image in background

You may need to check your desktop image for your monitor and change it to something lighter
The external monitor usually uses your computer's default and not ncessarily the one from your laptop monitor

Without taking it apart myself, it could be some wiring from the laptop to the screen

Displays desktop background but nothing else

I discovered that my laptop supports two monitors and the projector was acting as monitor #2. By changing the priority of the monitors I have got the information I need on the screen, but now not on the laptop. However, I can work the two from the screen and that will suffice for the moment, until I can find a way of getting the information on both!

The projectors periodically go to a blue screen in the middle of a presentation.

are they hooked up to a laptop? we've had the same problem with that before. When hooked up to the laptop it goes to sleep or turns off. bringing up the blue screen. maybe change the settings in the computer.
