You need to buy the little circuit board that is on the cartridge. The chip tells the machine that the ink is empty. If you're going to refill, you need the chips as well or a chip resetter.

you cant refill this cartridge you need to buy new one and replace to old cartridge

Tip

Your refilled HP ink is not recognised by your printer.

Sometimes your printer won't accept your refilled cartridges although you have full ink & no leakage.

What you can do is to trick the printer software. Use another cartridge & refill it and later you can use the first one.
Another trick is to remove the CMOS battery to erase the error. ( its location varies from printer to printer ...a bit painful)

Please if you found the tips helpful please rate it. Thanks.

Refilled cartridge not recognised

dont you hate that when that happend. this is why i do not use refilled carts. The issue here is the ink system has failed because of the refilled cart. the chip that reads the cartridge (printhead) is bad and needs to be replaced. I got a link on a tip for you about refilled stuff I hope you do take it to heart.

http://www.fixya.com/support/r4622115-refill_print_cartridges_cost_money

Read the artical in there you be so glad you did. Refilled inks ruin printheads!!! and this is what happend to your printer. please read and please do rate the tip and leave feedback for this free help today.

Use the correct ink cartridge referring to the model number indicated on the printer box or the instruction manuals. Please refer to below website: http://support-sg.canon-asia.com/contents/SG/EN/8000660401.html

Can u help me...

Try taking a soft damp (water only) and wiping off the bottom of the cartridge(s). Refilled tanks sometimes either dry up or clog. If this doesn't work, you need to try using new OEM cartridges to clear the problem. Sometimes refill ink does not meet the quality required.

Canon MX310 - refilling cartridge

Most canons have a chip on the ink cartridge that tells the printer the ink is empty so unless you reset that chip (which you cannont do), that newly filled cartridge will always read empty. This is how some printer manufacturer's thwart people saving money by refilling their cartridges.

thanks and please take a moment to rate as fixya.
