SOURCE: washing machine

i had the problem of my brand new washing machine not taking the conditioner and the customer service advisor rightly guessed that i was using concentrated liquid and advised me to dilute it with warm water then put it in the drawer because sometimes the liquid is too thick for the machine to take.try this!!!!! regarding the powder why not put it directly in the machine or buy tablets and do the same with those

Classixx model SMS40C02GB/25. What causes it to stop and turn on 'check water' light?

Sometimes the inlet pipe filter is restricted. Although water flows into the machine it is on a timer and if not enough water enters the machine registers that it is low. To test this start the machine and after a couple of minutes open the door. Add about a litre of water and then close the door. If the machine runs full cycle it's due to either an obstruction in the inlet filter or in the inlet matrix on the left hand side ( remove top and left side panel to see this)

Code troubleshooting

White knight dishwasher flashing red light and. Won't. Empty .
could be something in drain pump need to bail the water out of dishwasher best way is a small scoop take filter out and you can get to the lowest point of sump. Take water out and use sponge for the dregs . Un plug appliance and turn water off remove inlet hose and waste pipe. Lay the appliance on its back and remove the base of the appliance you will then see the drain pump remove 3 screw and gently remove pump head and remove object but watch finger if it's a shard of glass .

All lights flashing

Try powering off the machine using the main power switch for at least 10 seconds, then power back after holding down the top solo and start/stop simultaneously.

You may need to check the drainage pipe and water inlet for blockages. Under the filter inside, you can remove part of the drainage system by removing the silver clip and pulling on the plastic segment.

Wash this through, it has a lovely ball bearing inside, but don spend too long wondering how big it is. Big it is.

Check the tubes, for kinks etc... Always disconnect the water supply before detaching the inlet, and be prepared for a mess, if you do decide to remove the drainage outlet pipe.

Failing this, the following post may help:

I have an Electrolux ESI 6104x. Regularly just after starting the dishwasher as it starts to fill for the first time the water inlet cuts out. If you turn the water off at the mains disconnect the inlet...

Disconnect the fill pipe from the back of the machine and you should see a small mesh strainer in side the dishwashers inlet valve. Check that this is not dirty - to clean it pull out the strainer and rinse under the tap.

Water does not run into the machine

Check the strainer attached to the machine inlet. May be it is clogged. Try loading water 10 liters to the front chamber manually and run the m/c. If any air locking in the water pump this will ease out.

I have a Hoover dishwasher D820 model, water is now leaking as soon as the machine is switched on. I have examined inlet pipe and renewed washer, no other cracks are in the outlet pipe. All connections are...

with hoover it should have a water pump prior to the start of the outlet pipe. Id remove this and check for blockage, as anything in there that wont allow the motor to turn will force the water out somewhere else once its under pressure.

Wash motor does not run: Inlet/Drain error

Wordhog: Does sound like a siezed wash pump to me. Wash motor needs to run to get the correct level of water.

To drain a Miele dishwasher, start the machine on a cycle. All the Miele range of dishwashers drain before filling. Then hold in the start button until the end/finish light is lit. Keep doing this until all the water has gone. You could just get a jug and bail it out. Once the jug does not do the job anymore, switch to a cup, I use a very large syringe for the remaining half a litre.

Inlet/Drain light keeps flashing

Kenyanjoe, I have had the same problem with a G638 . the inlet/drain light flashed 30 sec after start up, (the machine must empty on start up, this did not happen), This caused it to lock out on alarm I removed the drain hose from the S trap, removed the non return valve from the filter, check the drain pump impellar is free, then blow down the drain hose back into the dishwasher to make sure it was not blocked then found the drain pipe on the S trap under the sink was restricted causing the machine not to empty in time for the cycle to continue causing it to lockout on inlet/drain alarm. Have a go , good luck. GUNNO
