The I don't believe the FIXYA group is affiliated with either
"SquareTrade" or TESCO (the Technika retailer)...

Personal opinion: paying NEARLY half again the purchase price for a "WARANTY" is pretty terrible (the price means they figure a
very high chance... THE SET IS GOING TO FAIL.

I'm thinking you are responding to a "registration" request
from one of these ORGANIZATIONS...

I poked around the TECSO site below and registration is
required to do anything at all... Your FLAT SCREEN (looks nice) was listed.. and offered 2 or 3 year EXTENDED warranty...

Notwithstanding the Technika 22's nearly 5 star rating...

BECAUSE of my FIXYA association... and I'm a cynical old man... (having recently learned of the terrible quality of (GUM-WRAPPER) CAPACITORS these "ENGINEERS" are using)...

I'd strongly suggest you do PROTECT your investment...

I do know SquareTrade has a good reputation here in the USA (and DO offer decent financial protection).

I just hate driving up the costs when repairing these things is ACTUALLY EASIER than GETTING THEM REPAIRED...

Look at the link above for parts costs... REGARDLESS you SHOULD register the product at least with the manufacturer
for safety reasons (of recall)...

I think these warrantees are a deliberate scam... and there's a reason the nick-name for their repair technician is "SPARKY" .

if I need SOOT on my walls ... I'll put it there myself...
