It is telling you that the type of signal is not compatible to that mode that you are in. What exactly are you connecting to where?

Shooting mode message this option is not available with current settings..some options like picture control are grayed out

Most of the options are not available in the automatic point-n-shoot modes. You need to switch to one of the advanced PSAM modes to gain access to these options.

If you're not too comfortable with the advanced modes, turn the mode dial to P. The Programmed Auto mode is just like the green Auto mode, except that you have the ability to override the camera and choose options like Picture Control.

How do you turn the flash for this camera on and off?

There will be a lightning bolt type symbol on one of the buttons, this will change between flash on/off/auto. The button might only work in some modes on the camera - try setting mode dial to P (program) instead of Auto.

Please we have a problem with de telephone. can

the button on your phone has been reprogrammed. it is easy to program the button back, but you will have to get the extension for the voicemail. the easy way is to go to another phone, go into program mode on another phone go to key programming and press the button used for voicemail access and see where it points to. then go to your phone and do the same, go into program mode press the button you want to program and enter the extension that goes to voice mail. Program mode on the individual phone is access through a Program button or a softkey under the screen. I was just on the Panasonic dealers website to see if I could find you a Pamphlet to email you that explained this, but there is no information available for your phone, too old.

Nikon D40X In Program mode (P*) I can not change settings. Nikon's video show it is possible to do this using the command dial. Any suggestions ?

Program: Puts the camera in charge of aperture and shutter speed, though all remaining camera settings are available. You can vary the combination of aperture and shutter speed the camera has selected by rotating the Command Dial.
from: http://www.imaging-resource.com/PRODS/D40X/D40XMENUS.HTM
The camera takes care of the shutter and aperture settings, and you control the other stuff...(presumably white balance, focus points...etc.?). I hav ea D70 and using the thumb wheel, I can, on 'P' mode, set the aperture...but the shutter speed is always 'auto' as far as I can tell.
Best of luck!

How do I turn off the flash for the canon powershot a630?

First of all, the flash can not be turned off in "Auto" mode. You can turn it off in any mode other than Auto. Would recommend Program "P" mode, which is very similar to Auto, but allows you to modify certain minor items such as flash and white balance.

Rotate your mode dial to "P", then press the button on the back with the "lightning bolt" icon. Press until the lightning bolt with a slash shows up on your LCD screen. The flash is now turned off in Program mode. Try taking a picture.

Remember, if in low light conditions you'll need to keep the camera extra steady without flash to get a clear picture. Recommend placing the camera on a table or chair (or even better, use a tripod), then using its autotimer to snap the picture.

No image message

It sounds like you are in playback mode with no images on the memory card. There is a dial on the top of the camera that selects cameras mode or playback. The manual is available for download here:

D70s problem

Check the exposure compensation setting to ensure it's set for +/-0. To do this, set the camera for Program mode. Locate the exposure compensation mode button - it's the button with a +/- on it immediately behind the on/off switch. With the camera on, hold down this button. If it shows anything other than "0", use the main command dial (the wheel on the back) to change to setting to 0.

The reason the camera works in the Auto mode is because the exposure compensation settings are not available in auto mode, but are available in Program (P), Aperature (A) and Shutter (S) modes.
