Microwave just quit!

Do you have any lights or display? If no it could be an internal fuse which you will have to unplug the unit and remove the cover. Look for a fuse, which should be in a socket, but I have also seen them soldered in line on the board. If lights and display work then you are looking at the Magnetron tube which could be defective.

The fuse is located inside the microwave. You will need to remove the front panel to get to it. It will be located on the black power wire inside the microwave and installed inline. Make sure that the microwwave is unplugged before removing the front panel. Once you locate the fuse inside you will need to remove it and test it with a continuity tester to see if it is blown. If it is make sure you replace the fuse with the same amp rating you found. If the new fuse blows again then there is an electrical short somewhere inside the microwave.

Chances are that either the diode or capacitor are shorted. Be very careful, the capacitor can store a charge and should be discharged first for safety. Hope that helps...

most micros have either a 15amp or 20 amp ceramic fuse at the top behind the touch pad. cover has to be removed. don't touch the hv capacitor. check fuse for continuity if none replace with like fuse. if it blows again you have another problem.

Normally when you take the cover off, the fuse will be on the right of the oven on the circuit board.

if the microwave is on the same circuit as the refrigerator, it's possible that the micro was turned on just as the refer compressor kicked on. i've seen that situation pop a fuse in microwaves many times - make sure you get a ceramic slo-blo fuse

Took microwave out, opened back, 15amp fuse blown. Replaced all ok.

Most of the manufactory has put them in the back where the power cord comes in.
