Can I hard reset my Casio QT-6000? - Retail Supplies

pick the clerk you want to use
Put you new name in the the description
you might need a number
them ESC all the way out
now Mode REG

Locate the battery that maintains the information on the unit. Remove the power cell, turn on the device and shut it down soon after. Restart and see if it was cleared.

Sounds like the battery may not have been replaced on time. If so, it will have lost all programming. Best to see a dealer about this problem. ---------------------------------------------------

hi, casio QT-6000 POS has a program to fix it go to the Casio service center..

The E Journal is accessed in the X-Z mode. By going to the X-Z mode and choose umber 4 to reset. Next there should be a screen that show the E-Journal. HIghlight and press yes. Now is the fun part. If you want it to print and it will print for what seems forever, press ALL if you just want to reset press reset only and I think 2 more yes's will do the trick. To get back to the main screen press escape 3 times and press REF MODE!

1. Press [Mode]
2. Press [PGM1]
3. Input current time (in 24hours format, eg 9:30pm = 2130)
4. Press [X/Date time]

I am not personally familiar with this product, but i have located a manual that details basic and advanced programming features for your model.
