    Hi Pablo & Ma,

It sounds like the 'o' rings are gone on the tap, ignore the horseshoe shaped washer as this isn't sealing water it is actually used to secure the tap to the sink.

If you have tightened the tap to stop it leaking, isolate the water supplies, and loosen the parts you have tightened on the spout, take it apart and inspect the washers/ 'o' rings. take them out and go to a plumbing merchants and get replacements. If this isn't possible try this....

You can buy a repair tape (its called P.T.F.E. in the UK) it's white and will repair most water leaks, also purchase some silicone grease both are ok on potable water (drinking water). Wrap the PTFE around the 'o'ring on the tap, then lightly coat it with silicone grease.

    This should resolve your problem.

Let me know how you get on

    As for the Gas Warm air,let me ask a few questions;

Is it a fan assisted warm air heater?

    Has it been serviced/cleaned recently?

I can solve this with a few questions being answered

    Thanks

    Hi P & Ma!

I'm so glad you sorted your tap out.....WELL DONE TO YOU! :)

As for the heating, the unit should be cleaned every year! If this isn't done it can cause carbon monoxide to leak into your house, this can potentially kill you! :(

I don't want this to happen to you or your Ma! please get this serviced/cleaned by a qualified gas engineer, i suspect because it hasn't been cleaned/serviced that a thermistor in the unit is dusty, this is giving false readings and making the ubit shut down.

    Please get it serviced Pablo.

    I hope this helps.

    Steve :o)

P.s. let me know how it goes, and if i can help with anything else, just ask!

    Take care.

How to stop sink leak

Check whether the faucet is leaking or the drainage is leaking.
If the faucet is leaking, you need tools to loosen the faucet to check whether the hoses are leaking or not. If the drainage is leaking, you can tighten the slip nut.

My Danze Anu Kitchen Faucet

Sounds like you have hard water.  You need to change the inside of the facet.  before doing anything make sure you CAN get the parts for you facet.   Danze are not very expencive you might just get a new facet.  If this is a hard water problem you might want to buy a moen facet with a life time warrinty.  More money but free replacement parts.

Kitchen sink drain loose

You can probably tighten it from the bottom. But first, get a little plumber putty from the hardware store and put it around the seal from the topside of the sink. As you tighten it down, it will squeeze out a bit, but that is okay. Good luck!

How To Connect Sinks Drain

No matter what type of sink you purchase, the drain and water-supply connections are generally installed in the same way. Hand-tighten a female adapter onto the drain stub-out at the wall. Slide slip nuts onto the drain arm and the sink's tailpiece. Fit a P-trap in place and tighten the slip nuts by hand. Connect flexible water-supply tubes onto the faucet's tailpieces, and route them to the shut-off valves. Tighten coupling nuts with an adjustable wrench. Remove the faucet aerator, turn on the water, check for leaks at the shutoff valves, and then turn on the faucet to check for leaks in the drain assembly. Replace the aerator.
