I have an iphone 3g 16gb white 3.0 just upgraded it from 2.2.1. my iphone freezes everytime i startup it hangs at the apple logo and even if it leaves that stage after some few mins it hangs . i have done countless restore. but it doesent work. please i need help urgently. thanks

If yopu have too much files on the memory pls delete some,if it persist just flash in new memory and the hanging will be detected and it will be corrected.

If iPhone won't turn on, or the display freezes or doesn't respond
Press and hold the Home button for at least ten seconds, until the application you were using quits.
If that doesn't work, turn iPhone off and turn it on again. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button on top of iPhone for 10 seconds until a red slider appears, and then slide the slider. Then press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
If that doesn't work, reset iPhone. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears

Try a reset. Hold down the power key at the same time as the round home key until phone powers down. Release buttons only when you see the apple logo, then wait a min or two for phone to re-boot. You will not lose any data on the phone.
If this does not work, try an actual system reset. Sync iPhone to computer to back up essential data ie contacts apps etc, then go to settings general and reset. Reset all settings as a last resort. This will give you a fresh start and should sort out the majority of any bugs the phone has. A resync with you computer will restore apps etc.

Step 1. Turn off your iPhone.
Step 2. Hold down the power and home button.
Step 3. When you see the Apple logo, release the power button but continue holding the home button down.
Step 4. Open iTunes and wait for it to tell you that its in restore mode.try this
