Question about Panasonic CW-C200NU Air Conditioner

1 Answer

Does not turn on

I tried to use this unit today and unfortunately, it will not turn on. I have checked both the power cord and the circuit breaker an d they seem fine. The manual states that there is an internal fuse, but they do not tell it's location and I don not see it. If anyone out there who can offer some help, I would greatly appreciate it.

If it is a touch pad operated ac then the fuse is sammiched in the middle between the touchpad and the board. Pretty slick ain't it? .3 amp is the size i beleive but don't hold me to dat.

Why you done ranked me already as a 2? I would take a look at the capacitor and see if it is leaking or swolen or open . I would check the compressor for a burned wire. if common is burned on top then nothing will work on some models. their is no fuse.I would take a look at the switch as well Look on my website for all of these links I have made several pages that will help you.Sheesh a 2 dude? LOL

Dr Mercola Pure & Clear air purifier model# PC_AP2000. Unit stopped working, will not turn on. Cannot find a fuse in this unit. All else is in perfect working order. Thank you for your help.

The unit would be fused through the circuit breaker it gets power from in the main box of the house or in some cases a sub box to the main house circuit breaker box. If it is tripping the breaker something is seriously wrong and to reset over and over causes a fire risk, call a repair person.

LG LD450EAL no power

Try resetting the GFI breaker, assuming it is connected to one. Also check the main breaker panel to make sure the breaker is not tripped. Unfortunately the electronic panels do go bad in these systems after a few years of service. Try resetting the unit. There should be a tiny reset button on the back. Also if the bucket is full it will not turn on, make sure it is in place and seated properly or it will not turn on. There may be a reset on the cord itself as well, hope this helps.

No power to wall unit

Have you tried plugging anything else in?

Also does the cord have a GFI breaker on it, or is the outlet a GFI outlet, if those are tripped it will keep power from going to the unit. If they tripped more then likely they got wet, or there is a short circuit.

Otherwise if all that is good circuit breaker would be next to check.

Jenn-air built in refridgerator

Nothing not even the lights come on? A power surge might have blown out the breaker on the fridge.

Fridge is causing the circuit breaker to trip when plugged in

Your unit is shorted out, check power cord and wiring on lower back of unit.

It may be the compressor shorted out.
If you have a pet, they some times remove wire insulation.

Turn unit so you can see the compressor housing on the bottom of the unit's back, you may need to emove the cover. turn breaker on and check if the small fan and the compressor kicked in. If the compressor did not start, and the breaker tripped again call a service tech to check unit.

Good Luck!!!

There is no fuse in this unit.

If unit has power but it is not cycling, then test wirings and circuit board.
Try first unplugging and plugging back the unit.

If there is no power at all , and the machine gives no sign of life, test the power cord and and the control assembly. In UK and other country there is also a fuse inside the power cord plug.
