Unable to check ink levels on deskjet f4140


The ink guage on my HP quit also but I was able to access via the tool box. Not sure if this is a software issue or the touch screen. You might be able to access the ink level when you go to print and do advanced settings. The ink level may be presented depending on your print program.

I cannot access the exsisting print cartridges to replace them on my hp psc 500 printer

Please note that the print cartridges can only be accessed when the printer is on.
  • Turn the printer on.
  • To access the cartridges,open the cartridge access door on the front of the printer and right above the paper output tray.
  • The cartridge carriage moves to the center so you can access it.
  • On the top of each cartridge is a latch,lift it.
  • You need to grasp the handle at the top of the cartridge pull forward and lift it up to remove.

I share hp laserjet 1020 printer but when i shut down after start pc printer not access & unable to connect or access denied display occured on other pcs, what i do?


When you share the printer that is connected to your computer for other computers to use this printer, your computer MUST be left on at all times for the other computers to print to this printer.
The reason is, your computer acts as a print server, it collects the print data from the other computers and sends it to the printer.

Method one: Use HP Solution Center to check ink levels HP Solution Center is software that acts as a centralized point of access for tasks such as scanning, printing, and copying. The software is part of the software package that comes with your product. When you perform a standard installation of the HP software, HP Solution Center is automatically installed. You must have the full-feature print driver, which includes HP Solution Center, installed to use this method. If you do not have the full-feature print driver installed on your computer, you can install it now. Alternatively, you can use 'Method two: Check ink levels from the software program' to check the ink levels. HP officejet 5600 connected but not printing


try a complete reinstall of the printer:
1) unplug printer
2) un-install all drivers, and make sure printer is removed from printer list
3) download the latest drivers from HP:
http://www.hp.com/sbso/bussupport.html
(the included CD drivers could be outdated)
4) follow HP instruction on how to install the new drivers and printer (sometimes it wants software first, sometimes it wants to detect printer first).

Won't print from compter.


dude! follow instructions given int he quick start guide. you need to install driver and software correctly. so every time you switch on your pc and printer, you can see a message in the quick launch menu "HP deskJet F2100 series is ready". now you can use your pc to print.

Hp solution center will not open


1.right click on my compter icon click manage disply conected status your usb printer status was yellow ? simple.
2.printer installation
first disconnect your printer and uninstall printer software on add remove programme then re install your printer this time connect printer status on yr computer then connect ur pusb cable for this time only now printer installation on sucessfull msg on ur computer ok
