Assuming all your other tv sets are in good condition a poor picture is usually related to a poor signal.

You don't give details of how many aerials you have or whether you have a single aerial with multiple downleads, which would have been useful...

Different tv's have different amounts of rf gain and so naturally need different amounts of signal strength for optimum performance.

When I had a new aerial fitted I went for overkill and had the shortest possible aerial downlead into the roof space and a six-way distribution amplifier feeding a separate downlead into every room. Using double-shielded low-loss coax this system provides a better signal-to-noise ratio and overall signal strength than the traditional long downlead and splitters.

One of my sets needed a large attenuator, one set needed a small attenuator and the third set was happy with the signal strength as it was. A basic signal strenth meter is available from many outlets fairly cheaply and is a worthwhile investment.

Cant get it to show a picture

Could be how you have it connected and what input you have your TV on. Also, if this is a TV that is an extra DirecTv might not allow it viewable. Ok, I have a three TV setup with Dish - One controller box per TV - If this is similar, then this extra TV may not work with out some kind of work around. My living room TV is set for HDMI 1, Xbox is HDMI 2, BlueRay/DVD is HDMI 3 - So make sure your TV's feed from the source is being received.

Have a great night

TV loses picture

Sounds like your picture tube or bulb is going out. It depends on what kind of tv ( rp, lcd, plasma) it could also be a component issue.

Hi, I have the Medion LCD-TV model MD 30058 40inch. I cant get a clear picture anymore, there are popping up lines, like there are bad signals. Sometimes the screen goes totally black, and I have to turn...

Medion LCD-TV model MD 30058 40inch is a "troublemaker", the problem you descibe Trond Larsen can probably be solve by replacing a capacitor on the CPU board, costing only NOK10,-

Cant see picture clear unless looking at eye level

I think you are correct. The standard def Tv is just poorly set up.

Look at your manual and see what the specs are for off angle viewing. I bet that the limit is right around 30-45 degrees. Which is not unusual for older low def screens.

The fix, unfortunately, is to buy a newer unit with better specs. The nice thing is....the prices are way down.

Toshiba 32'" tv wont give sharp picture

no rocket science here - my son fiddled with the cable cord attachment, until presto, the screen became sharp. Then we moved away as fast as possible, lest we shifted it and it put us back at square one.!!

Poor picture quality from 130 degree viewing angle on my LCD tv

It is unfortunate but "off angle" viewing will compromise the picture especially on larger TV's and LCD. Off angle viewing can come from the vertical axis or the horizontal, as you described. This is clearly illustrated with a laptop computer. Adjust the screen forward and back (vertical plane) and you will see very clearly that you get the brightest picture in a very small amount of range of the screen. Likewise, viewing from the side compromises picture as well.

I also don't believe that the delay is indicative of any problems.
