Open the CPU, look at the sound for the name and model of the card. go to their site and search for the driver. install it. alternatively, so to device manager under the system application in control panel, and see if the sound card driver is missing. refesh the device manager so that windows can detect it and see if windows have the driver preinstalled.

Try installing sound card's drivers. They can be downloaded from the manufecturer's website's support or download section or from http://www.opendrivers.com . It may solve your problem. (ehteshamhusain@gmail.com)

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
New users get to try the service completely Free afterwhich it costs $6 per call and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

My speaker system gives out terrible echo distortion cannot find problem through normal channels can you help?

my guess is that you have realtek sound on your pc. open the realtek icon from the tray by the clock if you have one, if not you need to go through the control panel. you'll probably find the equaliser is set on hall or something, play with the settings until you find the one you like.

I'm wondering if their is a way to bring some of my stuff back on my aim profile and my aim mail I had right clicked on something and I guess I accidently clicked on select all, and what it did was it...

Sorry to say but with AIM/AOL once you delete something it is gone unless it's e-mail. For e-mail you can check the recently deleted folder and if it is still there then you can restore it. Hope this helps.

No sound !!!

Hey that realtek program is an important driver and is the reason you can't hear anything. The realtek website has some downloads, but I am not exactly sure which one you need. I've tried to look but I can't find anything. Maybe you can find out more specifically what realtek thing was erased. Hope this helps.

HI

Below are two links where you can find the drivers for your sound card.
After downloadiing them follow the on-screen instructions to install the drivers.

You can also do it through your Device Manager console.

Click Notebook then click on Aspire 3690 then click on RealTek Audio Driver v5.10.0.5273.
You will then see a box below with Download in it.
Click on this link to download the driver.
Double click on the file when it is dowloaded.
It will be a 19mb zip file. Extract the file (Audio.exe) and double click to run. Follow the instructions should be pretty straight forward.
One more thing.
Dont delete ANYTHING on your PC unless you really know what it is ;-)
Hope this helps please let me know the outcome.
I am available to help with any install issues.
Good luck.
