Go to control panel, change the view to classic and click on mouse. check the speed and make sure it is either halfway the bar or faster. lookat the parameters and the tabs and set it to suit your pace. check the mouse cable for a possible break on the cable. if it is a ball mouse, check underneat if you have clogs on the ball
