Question about Casio EXILIM ZOOM EX-Z60 Digital Camera

1 Answer

Error E Upon changing the paper in my casio DL 250LA the paper jammed and then buzzed an E message. Now it shows an E upon turning on, does not feed or print. There appears to be nothing in the wheels jamming it - took the whole thing apart. Is it cooked?

Re: Error E

Kind of sounds like it. Make sure that there isn't a little piece of paper stuck in there where the paper feeds in. Have seen that happen before. If nothing else try pressing reset button on bottom or machine and see if that helps.

How do i solve this error on my casio digital camera giving me this error ( System error (0e01) ) Any assistance?

The manual, does to mention this error. It must be serious.

Try this, and if it won't help, contact your dealer, or a certified Casio service centre. Be aware a new camera is 10 times better now and will cost less than yours back than. So don't spend more than 25 or 5 dollars for repair.

That's a system error related to the automatic focus and since it's caused by a failure with the integrated components of the camera, it needs to be sent in to be fixed (i.e. the camera replaced under warranty) Call 800-706-2534 and keep choosing option 2 and they will tell you where to send it.

Casio exlim EX- Z29 lens error upon power on

If you've recently dropped the camera you may have damaged the lens tube (housing) or jarred the zoom mechanism off of its track -- either of these problems will require professional repair. If the camera has not been dropped, your problem may be due to weak/worn out batteries or corrosion on the battery contacts inside the camera which can prevent the full power of the batteries from flowing into the camera. Try this free fix before you do anything else: remove the batteries and wipe the camera contacts firmly with a dry cloth (heavy corrosion may require cleaning with a wire brush, steel wool, or sandpaper). Remove any residue that may have fallen into the battery compartment during cleaning, then wipe both ends of the batteries and place them back in the camera. This cleaning clears the problem about 90% of the time. If it doesn't work for you, your batteries may be too weak/worn to properly power the camera, or the camera may require professional repair.

Need help

Error messages seen at power-on if not caused by the memory card are generally related to the lens assembly either being jammed or malfunctioning. We do not see many Casio cameras here in my shop but I can say that statement applies to these kind of cameras in general. Hold the camera close to your ear when you power it on. Do you hear a series of different sounds, or do you hear chattering or repeating sounds? Perhaps no sounds at all? David Millier Advance Camera Repair
