Everytime I do, it just says that again.....

Yes, you need to have memory stick because camera has limited internal memory that can store few pictures only.
Put new memory card, format it through camera Menu and copy internal memory pictures to memory stick, take our memory card from camera and delete internal memory pictures either one by one or format internal memory through camera Menu.

Turn the power off and on again

Is it model with automatic cover of lens, like the DSC-T3 has? Problem is probably with lens cover. Try to move it (or help while it is trying to open/close) by your finger. It does sometimes if it is dirty (inside). I gues because you did not write the model name and number and on the picture is DSC-T1, but it has only 5.Mpix. If you have model with telescopic lens it is probably damaged gears of lens.

Distorted/damaged pictures

Please check the image size (pixels x pixels) setting or the resolution (MP). Seems like the camera is shooting in low resolution. Have you used this memory card on a mobile phone or another camera? Format the memory card and try again.

Sony cybershit dsc-s700

I have an old cybershot 4.1 MP camera. Its LCD screen is lit but no menu or other buttons work. I can not view what I am shooting but it does take pictures when I point and shoot and the flash works too. The T and W controls work too. I can transfer whatever pictures it takes to my PC. How can I get the LCD display to work?
