Question about JVC DR-MH30S DVD Recorder

Commonly this is cause by leaky capacitors in the secondry of the power supply SMPS ASSY.The PCB is located in the back right hand side of the unit.A visual inspection for any bulging of the capacitors will confirm this.
If you cannot change the capacitors yourself I suggest you take the unit to your local service center.
