JX-81J is the microwave recirculating charcoal filter for several models of GE and Hotpoint microwaves. The installation instructions will be available from the manufacturer with the model number of the microwave itself.
You missed something while reading the installation directions but that won't fix it. since you already drilled holes in the wall lower the mount down as needed then drill new holes in the mount to match the holes you drilled in the wall. The problem would have been worse if you were off left or right... up and down is easier. Remember you maybe just not dropping the microwave low enough to fit in the slot at the bottom of the wall mount before you tilt the micro up.. check it one more time...including the directions before you re-drill
With all due respect, what are you doing to it? If you use it with nothing in the cavity, that will kill the magnetron otherwise it will last for years and years. Very unusual and Bosch is a well respected name. If there is a probem with the oven, Bosch will replace it so take it up with Bosch.
Sounds like the magnetron has failed. There are some high voltage circuits that feed the magnetron and you can potentially get hurt if you don't know what you are doing. Would recommend you have it serviced by a professional if you want it fixed, otherwise look for a new one since the cost of repair can come close to the price of a new microwave oven.
If the unit is brand new as you say then it is covered under
the warranty and the 800# for Bosch is in your paperwork that came with
it.
It sounds like the glass platen (turntable) hub is either binding or
else the drive mechanism itself either has a bad tooth on the main gear
or tooth wheel. Some may still use a chain type drive mechanism as well.
If you call that 800 number - the customer service dept there will
advise you as to what needs to happen next. It's possible they will
either replace or repair at their expense.
