Question about Brother PE-150V Computerized Sewing Machine

When you say 'bobbin thread bunches' i take it that when you look at the underside of what you have sewn it looks messy. if this is the case and the machine is threaded correctly and the the needle thread is tight enough to bend the needle a little when pulled (with presser foot down) it will most likely be that you need to increase needle tension (maybe to max) when sewing thick fabrics with thicker than normal thread.
if the the needle does not bend a little you may not have the thread in between the tension discs, or there may be thread or lint caught in the tension discs preventing proper tension (try pulling a thin rag through the tension discs to dis-lodge any foreign matter).
