Question about Canon Video Cameras
I'm having the same problem right here too :( I just bought my Canon Vixia HF11, but I just can't find ways to export my Videos from the camcorder onto my computer. When I connect my camcorder with the computer via USB cord provided, and I opened the Image Mixer software that came with the camera, the Image Mixer dialogue shows up, and I could see my clips in there, but I can't click, scroll down, or do anything to it, because the Image Mixer just goes ''not responding'' all the time.
*sob sob* It's just killing me right now when I can't take the videos I recorded off my camcorder!!! >,<
I could import the pictures taken by this camcorder just fine, but I just don't understand what goes wrong with the Image Mixer Version 3 of Pixella.
I thought it was the software broken or something, so I tried to uninstall, and reinstalled it back, but same problems occured! I then tried to install the software on my sister's computer, still the Image Mixer just goes not responding all the time!!! THis is so painful >,< Please! anybody out there could help? Please, please! =,=
P.S. I used Sony CR VAIO with OS Vista Home Premium.

The most likely cause for this is a damaged or defective flexible ribbon cable that connects the LCD to the camera body and can be repaired fairly inexpensively. However, it's not a user serviceable problem and will need to be repaired by a qualified service technician.
