You need to press the second button on the right hand side. There is is playback button on the top then the next button is the display (it has a grey box inside of the outlined box) and then the arrow keys. Hit the second button (or middle button how ever you wanna look at it) until you see your screen. Hope that fixed your problem

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

My canon rebel Ti1 can take pictures but wont show up on the screen ... its all black .. It was workin before but now its not ? what can i do to fix it ?

Vmarin,

If the camera still takes pictures that are readable on the memory card, but not visible on the screen then you may just have a LCD issue. If your pictures turn out black, then you have an optics issue. The LCD would be worth a repair - if it's an optics problem, you can still get a quote but it will likely run more than half the value of the camera.

Good luck.
Thanks.

Black screen wont show images

May be the issue with CCD (image sensor device) of the Camera.

Refer this article to cofirm this.

http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/news-item.pl?mdl=DSCT1&news_id=161

Check whether the LCD screen of the Camera looks similar as given on the page.

If yes, click on the "Yes" button at the end of the page to create an online Repair Request for sending the Camera to the Sony Factory Service Center.

My screen is cracked

The camera will still work fine. The screen is only for framing your pictures and reviewing them. It will be hard to take pictures that way. Just get a new camera. It will be cheaper than repairing the screen.
