Fault at its main digital board. Short circuited component/s at it. Contact any service technician; or the authorized service center. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts.

In most cases, the main board might have to be replaced. If so, a software [firmware] update too might be necessary.
Before going further; try a hard reset first. If it does not help you, replace the main digital board. There are two methods to reset TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight is better. This procedure will make it a hard reset. If you want to make it a system reset [Factory Reset]; you have to enter its service mode option, and select the factory reset option. If you wish to get some details; visit the site linked here.

42 inches LCD TV,Aqous brand. where to buy parts inthe philippines

Sometimes the lizards can cause a lot of board wear-off as they being highly conductable and when shorted within the electrical circuit can make the secretions runs into the board therby contaminating and shorting circuits. If you are able to remove and use petrol to wash off the dirt on the board, look for open tracks that have burned or corroded. If you are able to trace and rewire using thin strands of wires , and assuming that no component damage had taken place, you can try this out.
If not as suggested you need to find the cost of a new board if a final consensus is taken.

WE BOUGHT A 42 INCH LG LCD TV FROM HONGKONG, TV CAME BY CARGO. TV IS NOT WORKING SINCE THE FIRST DAY. LG SERVICE CENTRE TOLD THAT THERE IS NO WARRANTY. WHAT TO DO. THEY ARE ADDING THAT OUR TV PANEL HAS TO...

Sometimes it is most important that you must check for universal warranty to get the claim. It seems that you TV was DAMAGED on transit and so if this was insured the claim caould be possible.
The TV panel is an expensive part of the LCD and so there is no way out than to replace.
Sometimes it is best to buy locally as prices are much better and compared to the risk taken with not warranty -- specially on large screens when on transit.
Get estimate , try for claim with your Hongkong dealer or insurance company as the last resort.

Moniter transitions to LG logo

Check the cable and make sure it is plugged in securely at both the monitor and PC. If the cable is connected properly, then the problem must be in the monitor itself. You could try setting the input mode manually on the monitor - the default should be auto - you could set it to VGA or DVI whichever your case is and see if it helps.

Vizio 42" LCD - Random appearance of small black rectangles

I would check and see if you have the text option on under your closed captioning. With the new digital transition the signal for text captioning has been getting messed up during broadcast here lately. If it is on i would just shut it off or go to regular closed captioning.
